Who We Are
Our official name is Christian Church Of The Crossroads and we are a movement...a gathering of people changed by Jesus Christ, learning to love like Jesus Christ and offering the hope of Jesus Christ to others. We are committed to loving one another, loving our neighbors and serving Mt Washington and beyond in radical, selfless fashion. We spend much of our efforts and resources going to help those who are at a CROSSROADS in their lives...the hurting, the broken and despaired. We are compelled in this way because we've been given hope. A hope that has changed our lives in drastic, powerful ways for the better. A hope that we cannot contain or hide and have to share. A hope that is found in Jesus Christ. And, we believe this hope is not just for us. We believe there is hope for everyone!
OUR STAFF

John Parkey
Lead Pastor
Most people just call him by his last name, “Parkey.” When his professional basketball career didn’t pan out and his hunting and fishing show never made it to production, he settled down and married Valerie. They have two children, Riley and Beau. Riley just made his dreams come true by becoming a Kentucky Wildcat and Beau keeps him on his toes as a new driver and with comic relief around the house. John's first love will always be Jesus, but ice cream and naps aren’t far behind.

Royce Lurie
Worship
Besides leading COTC in worship each Sunday, Royce enjoys hanging out with his wife, Courtney, and playing with their three kids Camden, Aria, and Violet. His passion is music, but you can often find Royce taking the kids on fishing trips, playing soccer with his son, or taking the girls on tractor rides. You will see Royce each Sunday morning leading the church in praise and worship.

Ana Recktenwald
Crossroads Kids Director
Ana Recktenwald oversees Crossroads Kids, our Nursery, Preschool, and Children's Ministries. Ana lives in Mount Washington with her husband, Greg, and their four sweet children, Haley, Avalyn, Grant, and Elijah. When she's not busy with her kids, Ana enjoys sewing, decorating, date nights with her hubby, and watching Fixer Upper. Ana has a passion to work with children and treats each child in our Children's ministry as one of her own. Come meet Ana this Sunday at Church of the Crossroads!
